Our Community Partners

University of Scranton, Occupational Therapy Department

Occupational Therapy focuses on improving the daily living skills of individuals of all ages and ability levels. Our partnership with the UofS has provided invaluable insight into the development of our programs. Dr. Marlene Morgan, Professor of Occupational Therapy, focuses on the meeting the needs of the elderly population through assistive devices. Dr. Morgan and her students have developed a survey to evaluate the impact of STAIPUT. This will help us determine our future plans and funding needs.

Geisinger Commonwealth Medical College(GCSOM)

We have partnered with GCSOM to assist us with further evaluation of program goals. Under the direction of Dr. Brian Piper and medical students, several surveys will be developed to identify various potential impacts of the use of technology in everyday life. Results will be made public and will allow us to evaluate program effectiveness.
