The Joanne Aronsohn Monahan, Foundation, dba StillFlyng Program, provides STAIPUT, Seniors To Age In Place Using Technology  for senior citizens currently living in their own homes . 

The STAIPUT Program provides smart-tech devices, installation, and training for participants to gain maximum benefits from the technology in the home. There are no income guidelines for participants?

The availability of smart-tech products is dependent on current grant funding. StillFlying is constantly looking for opportunities to expand programs and services for area Seniors.

who is eligible for staiput?

Currently the program is available for Senior Citizens living in their own home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. There are no income guidelines. Participants must also have use of the internet within the home. It is our dream to expand services with increased funding. 

If I am approved for STAIPUT, what is the next step?

Approved applicants will be contacted with the next step information. We will basically ask a few questions about your current technology and then schedule an appointment for our Technical Director to install the equipment at your home. 

what smart-tech devices are provided?

At the current time we are able to provide the Amazon Echo, Smart Plugs, and the Ring Doorbell. Items depend on funding.

The STAIPUT Program partners with the University of Scranton’s Occupational Therapy Program, under the guidance of Dr. Marlene Morgan, PhD,  for program design and evaluation.  

We ask that STAIPUT participants answer our surveys so we can assess the functionality and benefits of using smart-tech devices in the home.
